As I mentioned in an earlier post, my wife and I were watching Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions III. I asked my wife to challenge me with a protein and a side dish a la the Randomizer from the show (if you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it).
Anywho, she requested Shrimp étouffée:
It turned out very well, if I do say so myself.
Yesterday, for brunch, we had BLATs. That’s “bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato” for the uninitiated. On ciabatta rolls. Oh, and with mayo, mustard, and pepper jack cheese.
The other day, I made sausage and egg sammiches on English muffins.
