Every month I provide at least one update on our book production progress. Here’s April’s.
First, I am very excited to announce that our distributor has scheduled the release dates for
’s memoir, this publishing company’s debut title. Israel Odyssey: Coming of Age and Finding Peace in the Middle East will release on June 25 in ebook and then arrive on Sept. 10 in paperback. As soon as the pre-order page posts then we’ll share it.Having completed the editorial and production processes on David’s book he has launched his solo Substack. Please subscribe. Here is his most recent post:
(For authors who do not yet have a Substack then after we finish their first title they will launch one. We also have some new Substack newsletters we will debut in the coming weeks to promote each of our imprints and their authors.)
We have a dozen more titles under contract which are in various stages of the editorial and production processes. Here are some updates on them. Our next two books will be
’s Perdicion: The Other Blue Planet, and ’s Home Life: Poems, each the debut titles of new imprints. Both of these are in the final stretch of production - we’re proofreading the formatted pages now and should be able to submit to our distributor within the next few weeks.’s mystery-thriller The Secret of Fatima and ’s historical novel The Reconstruction of Mary Jane are next to go into the formatting stage, their texts almost finalized after copyediting. Our four titles following them - ’s nonfiction world-building guide, ’s literary satire Miranda’s War, Bill Walsh’s supernatural mystery-thriller The Black Chamber, and ’s adventure-thriller Giants on the Horizon are in varying stages of copyediting and finalizing. My nonfiction essay and journalism collection Psychedelic Zionism Rising will hopefully come next. We have a second version of the text assembled and
has started a structural edit, but I still have much work to do revising and expanding the essays (which appeared in their initial forms here at our Substack). I also need to finish editing the journalism section which will feature the best bits from my interviews over the last year and a half of reporting on the antisemitism beat. And then following that we have more than a dozen additional titles in progress from this group of authors, ranging from completed books which I’m starting to edit, to new titles we’re considering getting under contract, to books that the authors in the group are still writing. We’ve got so much great contact already and such a strong team of writers that right now we’re not actively searching for new members of the group. That might change in six months or so as we make more production progress.
HOWEVER, I will say: anyone who subscribes to this Substack has an open invitation to submit writing to us for publishing consideration. This could include submissions to this Substack and the future newsletters we launch or manuscripts for potential book publishing. Please just respond to this email with a query of what you’d like us to consider.
Submissions we consider for this Substack includes articles, essays, blog posts, short stories, poetry, and reviews.
Books we consider publishing include genre novels, literary novels, poetry collections, memoirs, and nonfiction on culture, politics, and religion.
Thank you everyone reading this for your encouragement and support as we’ve planned this company, as we’ve grown this Substack, and now as we release our first wave of books into the world.
